HH Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Challenge

The HH Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Challenge consists of three rounds 100km FEI rides. Round One was held on January 18, 2008, Round Two is to be held on February 8, 2008 and the Final Round on March 7, 2008. A point system has been formulated and the rider with the most points at the end of the three rounds will be named the Champion of the HH Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Challenge. The point system is as follows:

1                130 pts + Trophy + 30,000 AED
2                100 pts + Trophy + 25,000 AED
3                 80 pts + Trophy + 15,000 AED
4                 60 pts + 5,000 AED
5                 40 pts + 2,000 AED
6-10           10 pts
11-Last       5 pts

Best Conditioned Bonus Points

 1.              45 pts + Trophy + 10,000 AED
 2.              30 pts
 3.              10 pts

Best Conditioned will be comprised of the first finisher and the following nine finishers within one hour of the first horse across the finish line.

Bonus Points

Bonus Points for Rider completing all three Rounds of the Challenge: 50 pts

Bonus Points for Rider that completes all three Rounds of the Challenge with the same horse: 100 pts

First Place: Trophy + Car (Hydra Properties)

Second Place: Trophy + Jewelry (Sorouh)

Third Place: Trophy + Jewelry (Sorouh)
